The album Rhinefield have been building towards - a collection of original songs that brings together everything the band has become so far.
"Yeh, it's a bit rough and ready but we're so proud of what it is, we just wanted to get out into the world! This is where we are. This is it!"
Rooted in rock, Americana and blues, the album combines heavy riffs, big vocals, melodic guitar work and plenty of old-school guitar solos. The songs are honest, sometimes admitting failure, and sometimes just embracing the good things in life. There are quieter moments, but this is ultimately a record built to get people moving. Along the way you'll hear the little details that make the album feel less like a collection of recordings and more like stepping into Rhinefield's world.
The recording itself happened remarkably quickly. Drums and bass were tracked on day one, guitars on the second, with the vocals following the next weekend. It was during those sessions that some of the album's defining moments appeared almost by accident. When we started layering the backing vocals for All My Love, we were genuinely surprised by how big they sounded. We created our own live audience for This Is It, and when that was dropped into the track and the music came crashing back in, it became one of the moments that really brought the album together - and probably the most fun we had making it.

Rhinefield are an original music band from Bournemouth, England. Formed at the end of 2018, a steady round of shows across the region has started to build a solid fan base for the band.
"The shows are what we're here for, what we're all about! We want people enjoying themselves, rocking out, and joining us for a beer after!"
The 4 piece band are made up of Sam Eccles (Eccles) on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Kris Pearce on backing vocals and lead guitar, Tim Finch on drums, and Matthew Cornes on backing vocals and bass.

After forming, the band would spend their first 2 years practicing material and searching for a drummer. Just as they thought they had everything in place to start gigging, 2020 happened. All gigs were cancelled, rehearsals put on hold, everything stopped - except the band. Rhinefield continued to practice separately, writing new material and perfecting old songs, and when it was finally possible, they returned to the studio and picked up where they left off.
After the surprise departure of their former bassist, once again the band found themselves searching for another member to complete the line up. With only 3 weeks until their first gig, Matt took up the challenge of learning 10 songs and prepared to join them on stage. He smashed it! And so it was, Metal Matt joined the Rhineclub.
